Landscape Planning and Assessment
SLD have extensive experience in assessing and preparing landscape developments in sensitive landscapes (AONB, National Parks and Conservation Areas). SLD are proactive and can identify potential effects of any proposed project and can suggest landscape enhancement to maximises opportunities ensuring that any negative effects can be minimised and a robust, high quality scheme delivered.

Landscape Design
SLD have a broad background in creating and developing innovative and intelligent design proposals within private and commercial projects, public realm to landscape development and planning applications. With an accomplished track record and experience that is committed to delivering a creative and cost effective project that is appropriate to the site and end users.
Landscape services start at the inception stage, to include assessing the client requirements, through all design stages (A-K) including the production of plans for planning applications and detailed plans for Tender Packages.
SLD has a broad range of associative consultants that can be called on to prepare supplementary documents and information to complement the development proposals. These may include Aboricultural experts, Ecologists, Photomontage/Graphic specialists, and site survey teams.
Site Support
SLD has developed a comprehensive level of experience at being the clients eyes on site during the construction phase and will monitor, inspect and prepare detailed reports on the landscape activities to ensure that the works are completed as detailed in the contract documents. SLD will also attend site progress meetings, respond to RFI’s, amend landscape drawings/specifications and provide appropriate information for the Operations and Maintenance Manual.
